I knew that title would lure you in! I’m feeling a bit refreshed and energized after a really fun, and pretty relaxing vacation with the family. Unbelievable, but my girls actually got along quite well this time around. Luck, age, or maybe mom chilling a bit more…who knows, but I will take it. Hmmm…. maybe it was the pina coladas or Miami breeze cocktails I had? 😉 Or maybe all of our hormones were in sync this month?!
I can’t wait to share some fun travel posts with you very soon! I had a fun mother/sisters getaway to Scottsdale in late March followed by spring break a week later with the family in Miami and the Dominican Republic.
In the meantime, I’ve seen so many fun denim looks over the last several weeks that I couldn’t wait to put together a post of some of my favorite pieces.
Loving anything off the shoulder this season and this denim dress is perfectly practical, but a bit flirty.
Something simple, easy and breezy for those warm summer days and nights.
A cute and comfortable piece from Anthropologie.
How adorable are these straps? Reminds me of a beach bag! This fun dress is from Anthropologie.
This well priced Anthropologie dress is so pulled together it could go to the office to the beach with a change of shoes and accessories.
This denim dress looks so soft and comfortable and the perfect dress for a scorching hot day. Really like the addition of the cute scarf.
Love love love this one! Pockets and a frayed hemline….. and that hat. In love! The only thing that is missing is a fabulous necklace!
Maybe you want a white denim dress? Another cute find from Anthro.
Tops, Tunics & Skirts
You know I love a bit of fringe and I love a tunic and this combo is a match made in heaven in my mind. A fun find from Anthropologie.
Such a unique shirt from Anthro. Hard to tell, but it is denim.
A soft denim option with a fun fringe from Nordstrom
Another soft denim option from Nordstrom that can be worn off the shoulder.
A nice layering piece or worn alone from J Crew Factory.
Another lace up option, sans the pockets, from Anthropologie.
Denim skirt from H & M. Functional and cute.
Another cute and practical skirt from H & M
Really liking this slightly distressed option from Nordstrom. I think it is important to find the right length when buying a denim skirt. Too short and it looks like you are trying to be too young or too long can look too dowdy. It is a fine balance, ladies. I think just slightly above the knee is perfect for 30’s and beyond. My two cents on skirts. I think you know what I mean, right?
Hats and Bags
What an adorable fedora with denim trim from Nordstrom
An all denim option from Nordstrom for a great price.
Have you checked out Reece Witherspoon’s stylish new line, Draper James? Beautiful online shop carrying a variety of different items. How adorable is this denim tote bag??
I hope you received a bit of denim inspiration. It doesn’t always have to be in the form of a pair of jeans, right? Fun to mix it up a bit, and with so many fun denim pieces out there, why not try something different this spring.
I’ll be back next week with a post about a recent spring trip.
As always, thank you so much for stopping by and I always enjoy your comments! xo
