I was at Target recently when I spotted these fun and colorful palazzo pants and couldn’t resist buying a few pair!
Actually, I bought several pair…. went home and tried them on and narrowed it down to my three favorites.
Do you try things on at the store, or do you take things home and try them on with your own accessories and shoes? I guess it depends on my mood, but more times than not, I like to get a feel for things at home and return the things that didn’t quite make the cut.
I found these pants to be so incredibly comfortable…..they have an elastic waist band (need I say more), and are made of a rayon- spandex mix! I mean seriously, could we ask for anything more comfortable, and they just happen to be cute and stylish at the same time?!
I’m actually thinking that these pants could be downright dangerous when eating a delicious meal…..I might never know when to stop! I’m definitely going to add these to my Thanksgiving wardrobe choices…. if you know what I mean!
I love how they can be dressed up or down and worn very casually with a jean jacket and sandals, or in this case, having your coffee barefoot by the pool. This pair is by Mossimo and are still available at Target online.
I had to get a pair in black because that is my go to color for almost everything in my wardrobe. I wore the black pair with a white jean jacket from Gap and accessorized the outfit with silver jewelry.
I especially like the fact that they have pockets, which is always a plus in my book!
So fun to see so many great looks from the 70’s back again this season! Do you remember your parents rocking the wide leg/bell bottom pant look from your childhood days? I can still picture my groovy mom wearing bell bottom pants with wedges like it was yesterday!
This vibrant pair was just too fun to pass up, and while I probably will not a get a lot of wear out of them, the price was right if I’m only wearing them for one season! I added a bit of turquoise to this outfit and wore a favorite pair of silver Jack Rogers sandals.
If you’re looking for something fun to wear this summer that is lightweight and comfortable, other than the usual shorts or jeans, I would put these on your short list of items to buy to add a unique twist to your summer wardrobe.
These pants are wonderful to travel in and are very easy to pack as well!
What do you think of palazzo pants? A fan or not? Will you be palazzoing?
Photos were taken at the beautiful Ritz Carlton Hotel in Rancho Mirage, CA, where I was staying with three friends for a girlfriends getaway.
