What I wore in Cabo

I recently spent three incredible days in Cabo with three wonderful friends.  Re-entry has been hard – I’m not going to lie. Is there anything better than hanging out at the beach with your favorite gal pals talking for hours with fruity cocktails in your hand?  I think not.  Okay, so now on to the clothes…..I normally don’t go too crazy shopping for things before vacation, but you have to admit that half the fun of going away is finding a few new pieces to wear, right?  I definitely needed a few new dresses and after striking out at several of my go to stores, I finally found a couple that I fell in love with!

What I love about this Trina Turk piece is that it can go from a beach cover up to dinner with just a change of shoes.  Just in case you had too many margaritas at the pool or beach, and don’t have time to change into something else, you can stroll to dinner looking pretty chic with any type of footwear you have handy and you are ready to go!

Going from Trina to Target because you know I shop everywhere and I’m not overly concerned about always wearing a designer brand…..I’m open to all stores and names.  This is a cute off the shoulder dress that also comes in ivory.  Very comfortable and basic for those occasions when you are looking for a simple black dress for summer.

This fun Mexican inspired off the shoulder dress is from Francesca’s.  Have you ever shopped there?  Sometimes I find nothing and sometimes I hit the jackpot!  This was a jackpot excursion because I found three dresses for my Mexican getaway…..all under $50!   The shoes are from Andre Assous and they are incredibly comfortable for being 4″ wedges. Really they are!

Another fabulous find from Francesca’s.  The length is just right….not too short and not too long.  I find at my age that right above the knee is perfect.  I’m not trying to be 25….been there done that, but I don’t want to be dowdy either.

And another find from Francesca’s. You go Francesca!  Her store currently has a great selection of cute dresses for all age groups!  This one has a bit of a Mexican vibe going for it as well. Love the cute detailing on top. This cutie was $44!

I recently fell in love with this denim dress from Banana Republic.  You have to have some type of denim dress in your closet because they are just so easy to wear with heels, flats, or sandals.  And they are always so comfortable!  This dress was just marked down and is currently in stock. Yay!

This hat is from Michael Stars and I’m wearing it all the time!  It even has an adjustable strap inside….love that!  I hate hats that blow off and can’t be tightened!  I found it at a cute boutique, Alys Grace.

And the bag is from another favorite boutique, Kicks!  The bag is by Steven and I’m in love with it!  It is very durable and has a zipper on the top making it a great travel bag.  What I especially love about this bag, is that it can easily do double duty as a travel bag and a beach bag.

I’m absolutely head over heels for this Z & L cover up, which I found at Everything but Water.

And lastly, one more beach bag I’m loving that is from Muche Muchette.  I found it at the cutest pop up boutique at the 1 Hotel in Miami recently.  Some fun fringe and sparkle…..I couldn’t resist!

I’ve been getting a ton of compliments on my sunglasses that are from Madewell.  They are still in stock for a great price.  Just in case you like them I thought I would share the info. xo

So there you have it….. some of my favorite looks from Cabo!

What are your favorite looks from my Cabo getaway?

I have another Cabo post coming out soon talking about where we stayed and where we dined.  Stay tuned!  Happy almost summer!!
